I would like to invite you to be a part of "The Movement." If you are interested in completing your first or next Ironman, then I would like to extend an invitation for you to join Tri-Masters and Tri Unify for the 2010 Ironman Canada. The 2010 Ironman Canada will serve as a fundraiser for Tri-Masters (www.tri-masters.org) and Tri Unify (www.triunify.com). Both organizations are 501(3)c not for profit organization committed to promoting healthy lifestyles in the African-American and Latino communities. We are calling ALL PEOPLE of COLOR to do this race.
The race is August 29, 2010. You have plenty of time to train. We are asking that each athlete commit to raise a minimum of $2,500 to be donated to Tri-Masters and Tri Unify. Helping Tri-Masters helps you! In return for your support, we will provide each athlete with the following:
* Entry into Ironman® Canada 2010
* Race Clothing (jersey, shorts)
* Training Gear (jersey, shorts, t-shirt, jacket)
* Individual Website Page for accepting donations, blogging, and photos
* Email and phone access to a Coach
* Online Training (6-8 month program)
* Promotional Material
* Sponsor Information
* Discounts on various merchandise and travel
* Pre-Race briefings with former and current professional triathlete(s) .
